About Our Teacher

About The Teacher

Welcome! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. My name is Linda Robinson. I am originally from Vicksburg, MS. I graduated from the University of MS with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I taught kindergarten and first grade in MS for 3 years before moving to Memphis. This is my 29th year of teaching. I have been fortunate enough to be at Richland Elem. since January of 1990. I have had teaching experience with grades k-4.Last year, I taught three sections of 4th grade math. I am very excited to be teaching 5th grade math this year. I have one daughter, named Katie, who is 23 years old. She attended Memphis College of Art and finished at Southwest with and Associate Degree in Graphic Designs. Some of my favorite past times are gardening, swimming, playing with my dogs, shopping, reading, and attending Ole Miss sporting events. I am looking forward to a fun and successful year with my 5th grade classes.

Mission For The Class

My mission for this year is to help each student to become more independent and make progress in every subject area. I want my students to develop a true love for learning and a have a desire to be the best they can be. I want my students to feel successful and be proud of who they are. My mission is for each child to feel that he or she truly belongs in our classroom family.
